It sounds like you need to offset your sprocket mate.
Measure everything out and I’m sure you’ll see what needs to happen

Hey love the CBX IT’S BEAUTIFUL!!! I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT A BIKE THAT I AM BUILDING, IT’S A 1981 GSX750E WITH A 2001 GSF1200 BANDIT ENGINE, SWINGARM, REAR WHEEL AND I HAVE A 2001 SUZUKI TL1000 FRONT WHEEL AND FORKS BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT I HAVE EVERYTHING STRAIGHT AND CENTERED NOW MY CHAIN RUBS MY FRAME AN I JUST DON’T KNOW HOW TO FIX IT CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME THANKS. I loved this bike always wanted one but couldn’t afford it at the time so I bought the 900 Fz but I remember watching the marshalls at the 1979 IOMTT ride the CBX and the sounded phenomenal
